We are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join our team and support the company’s financial operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor budget performance against actual results
  • Analyse financial variances and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Support forecasting and financial planning processes
  • Coordinate the recording, review, and reconciliation of financial transactions across primary, financial, and management accounting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements
  • Ensure timely completion of all tax, financial, and operational reporting obligations
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and reporting of all accounting operations
  • Provide financial data and insights to support both operational and strategic decision-making
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports in accordance with legal requirements and management needs
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly billing cycles and quarterly financial closures
  • Contribute to internal and cross-departmental projects, as requested by management
  • Prepares data for statistical reports and completes the required forms for relevant reporting periods 
  • Acts proactively to minimize financial and compliance risks, protecting the company from potential penalties 
  • Stays up to date with the latest accounting legislation and best practices 
  • Ensures the implementation of all duties defined by applicable accounting regulations, related methodological norms, and other relevant financial and legal provisions
  • Prepare and provide financial documentation requested by employees
  • Enhance controlling processes and drive reporting automation initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with department managers

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting, controlling, or financial analysis
  • Knowledge of accounting legislation
  • Solid understanding of financial controlling principles, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost control, and reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible, independent, and team-oriented mindset
  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Business Central)
  • Project management experience
  • Good command of German (written and spoken)
